Islands such as Corfu, Paxos and Antipaxos are in the Ionian Sea to the west of mainland Greece. Here, the landscape is lush and green and our luxury villas are nestled in both shady country locations and overlooking beaches. Corfu is one of the most sought-after destinations in the Mediterranean and offers a fabulous mixture of vibrant nightlife, candlelit restaurants, historic squares and breathtaking architecture. Why not hire a chauffeur driven car to take you round the island, hire a boat and relax on the waves with the backdrop of the rugged coastlines behind you or spot Italy from the top of Mount Pantokrator, Corfu’s highest peak. Corfu is especially popular with British visitors and has many memories of times when it was a principal base for the Royal Navy – there is even a thriving cricket club in Corfu Town!

The Greek Islands of the Aegean have a different atmosphere; here you are virtually guaranteed sunshine and there is less vegetation, but this highlights the stark beauty of the white houses and windmills. There are also sea breezes to take away the heat of the sun, but do take care, it is always strong! Corfu, Crete and Mykonos are probably the most well-known of all the Greek islands but despite their popularity with tourists they have managed to keep their Grecian heritage and still offer the rambling hill roads, friendly tavernas, pure white houses and beautiful coastlines symbolic of what one would expect from this sunny paradise.

If you prefer a more tranquil vacation the islands of Hydra and Antiparos offer a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. These small islands come with a more laid back atmosphere than the more popular islands but still offer plenty to do and see.
